ANGELA WAS TRAGICALLY TAKEN AT THE YOUNG AGE OF 24 AFTER BEING KNOCKED DOWN AFTER A NIGHT OUT WITH FRIENDS.
I FIRST MET ANGIE WHEN WE ATTENDED THE SAME MIDDLE SCHOOL,HUNSLET NATIONAL C OF E,WE BECAME FRIENDS FROM THAT FIRST DAY.ANGIE WAS A FANTASTIC FRIEND TO HAVE AND I COUNT MYSELF BLESSED TO OF HAD HER IN MY LIFE.
ANGIE LIVED WITH HER MUM BRENDA AND BROTHERS MARK & DARREN,THEY LIVED IN LEEK STREET FLATS WHEN WE FIRST MET BUT WHEN THESE WERE DEMOLISHED THE FAMILY MOVED TO TORRE HILL.
SOON AFTER THIS MOVE WE STARTED HIGH SCHOOL,CROSS GREEN HIGH SCHOOL AND OUR FRIENDSHIP JUST GOT STRONGER,WE DID THE USUAL THINGS TEENAGE GIRLS DID BUT NEVER CAUSED OUR FAMILIES ANY WORRIES.ANGIE WAS SUCH A FUN LOVING AND FRIENDLY PERSON ,SHE WAS A WELL LIKED PERSON IN LOTS OF CIRCLES.
WE WOULD SPEND ALL DAY TOGETHER AT SCHOOL AND THEN AGAIN AT NIGHT WITH ALL OUR FRIENDS,WHEN IT WAS TIME TO GO HOME ANGIE WOULD SAY "ILL JUST WALK JO HALF WAY HOME I WONT BE LONG.",AND THEN WOULD'NT RETURN UNTIL HALF AN HOUR LATER ,BRENDA USED TO LAUGH "YOU'VE BEEN TOGETHER FOR TWELVE HOURS ALREADY WHAT ELSE CAN YOU POSSIBLY HAVE TO TALK ABOUT?",WE ALWAYS FOUND SOMETHING BUT WE USED TO SPEND MOST OF OUR TIME JUST LAUGHING.
AFTER HIGH SCHOOL ANGIE WENT TO CATERING COLLEGE TO TRAIN AS A CHEF,SHE USED TO DREAM OF HER ON CATERING BUSINESS(NEON CATERING)SHE HAD IT ALL FIGURED OUT A BLACK VAN WITH THE NAME IN GREEN NOEN LIGHTING EFFECT WRITING,SHE WOULD OF MADE HAPPEN IN THE END I'M SURE OF THAT.
AS WE GOT OLDER AND HAD BOYFRIENDS WE SPENT LESS TIME TOGETHER ,ANGIE SHARED A FLAT WITH A GIRL FOR A WHILE,STARTED WORKING IN A PUB AT NIGHT AND DOING HER OWN THING.
THEN ON THE 12TH OF NOVEMBER 1994 EVERYTHING CHANGED,THE NEXT MORNING I GOT A PHONE CALL FROM MY COUSIN TELLING ME OF ANGIES DEATH(MY COUSIN WAS THE ATTENDING OFFICER AT THE ACCIDENT) I WAS ABSOLUTLEY CRUSHED BY THAT CALL.
AT ANGIES FUNERAL IT WAS OBVIOUS HOW WELL LIKED SHE WAS ,EVEN PEOPLE FROM OUR MIDDLE SCHOOL HAD ATTENDED PEOPLE WHO SHE HAD NOT SEEN SINCE LEAVING.I HAVE NEVER MET ANYONE WHO AS COME CLOSE TO BEING MY FRIEND LIKE SHE WAS AND I DONT THINK I WILL I DONT THINK SUCH A PERSON EXIST.I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER ANGELA WITH LOVE AND A NEVERENDING FRIENDSHIP THAT EVEN DEATH CAN NEVER ERASE,GODBLESS YOU NOW AND ALWAYS ANGIE,I'LL KEEP YOU IN MY HEART.XXXX
